Kate's 1st Birthday

This is why we moved back to the East coast -- to be able to get all the family members together without too much of a hassle and expensive plane tickets.  We couldn't be more thrilled that Kate's 1st birthday party was the first time since our wedding that the grandparents were together and that our pictures and videos of the event include Kate's adorable cousins, Anna and Molly.   It made this big milestone even that much bigger and it's nice to think that this will be a regular occurrence.

 

Kate was so cute in her birthday dress and hat, loved playing with the balloons Daddy picked out, attacked her cupcake, and couldn't stop playing with Big Bird, Grover, and the house Aunt Claire got her!
